Underground Drainage System

Underground Drainage Pipes and Fittings are solid wall uPVC pipes in the standard brown colour code, designed for gravity sewerage, soil discharge and surface water lines below ground. Manufactured to IS 15328 in stiffness classes SN 2, SN 4 and SN 8, they are selected by burial depth and traffic load — SN 4 for shallow runs under light traffic, SN 8 for deeper trenches and roads carrying vehicles. Joints are available in solvent-weld and elastomeric ring seal, the ring type absorbing ground movement and thermal expansion on long runs. The material resists sewage, industrial effluent, aggressive soils and root ingress, none of which it can rust or rot from, and a smooth bore keeps the line self-cleansing at design gradient. Light enough to be laid by hand without craneage, it shortens trench open time and reduces reinstatement cost. Supplied with the full accessory range including bends, junctions, couplers, reducers, gully traps, floor traps, non-return valves and access fittings.

Readymade Inspection Chambers are factory-moulded uPVC chambers that replace brick and concrete manholes on underground drainage networks. Supplied as a base with pre-formed inlet and outlet channels, a corrugated riser shaft cut to depth on site, and a sealed cover to suit pedestrian or vehicular loading, they install in a fraction of the time a masonry chamber takes and need no curing period before backfill. The moulded base is watertight, so groundwater does not infiltrate the sewer and effluent does not leak into the surrounding soil — the failure that eventually affects every mortar-jointed chamber. Smooth internal channels carry flow without the deposit build-up that collects in a hand-built benching, and the whole unit is light enough to be positioned by two people. Available in standard depths with matching riser extensions and covers.
