Waterworks isolation ('sluice') valve for 50 mm (2") flanged water mains — the big cast gate valve on municipal lines. Cast iron body with bronze seat rings; the spindle rises visibly as it opens — position shows at a glance (needs headroom). Face-to-face 178 mm; max height 350 mm. IS 1538 flanges. Tested to 1.5 MPa shell / 1.0 MPa seat; water service up to 45°C. Yoke type, rising spindle; re-packing under pressure; IS 1538 flanges. Brass spindle/padlock options; bypass on 200 mm+.
